Why have I been so terrified waiting for this to be published? The article is great and, apart from the fact that a Cub Scout Den Leader patch actually goes on the sleeve of the uniform rather than on one of the breast pockets, it seems accurate to me.
I’ll happily act as a Cub Scout regalia fact checker in the future if that would be helpful.

You can fact check me anytime, sweetie!
All those patches look alike to the uninitiated, BTW.
Love ya!

Awe,so sweet. Don’t let my husband find out you actually have an emotional attachment to Dave’s clothes, too. There is a thread-bare concert t-shirt hiding at the bottom of one of his drawers and I have been threatening to trash that thing for years. He shudders at the mention of it. I guess I can be thankful he doesn’t want to wear, just keep it… FOREVER.
Happy travels!

You are such an awesome writer! I hope you’re having a blast in Scotland! We’re finally here in the US now! LOL!

Wonderful essay, Nikki. And wow–I just saw his photography. The one of Hamilton Pool is just incredible.

Wendi,
Thanks! I love Dave’s photos as well. But WILL he take pictures of the kids? Nooooo…..
Maybe if I dressed them up like skyscrapers or waterfalls;-)
Jenni,
THANKS! Sorry it took so long to respond! I can’t wait to tell you all my news!
